I've been busy rambling again.
Sorry, its a bad habit but its oh so addictive, and it helps clear the mind (and soothe the throat!).

Around these parts all I've done today is update my quotes page, for the first time in nearly a year. Theres some gems in there, and please feel free to post any of your favourites to add to the list..

Most of my focus lately has been on SmashcraB.org, and in in the last few days I've been researching like crazy to further my understanding of the influences and prominent members of the different cults, religious sects and secret societies in Australia. The more I research, the more overwhelmed I feel at the size of this project, but im determined to make this work.

Also, I promise not to constantly cross-post between sites like this all the time, but I really feel like my last few posts would be interesting to some of the readers here.

My last post a few minutes ago was to do with the Exclusive Brethren, a religious sect Im personally affected by and have researched for a few years.

Before that, I did a quick summary and named a bunch of Early Australian Freemasons , and was surprised by how many of them have gotten into powerful positions (at least 10 prime ministers!) over the years..

Theres more, but you'll find it. I've done some rearranging so that the latest headlines from SmashcraB.org now show up in the left sidebar, so theres no excuse for me to keep shamelessly self promoting like this.

I've finally fixed a bunch of problems with this site that have been pissing me off for AGES. These problems are the reason I went quiet for so long. Nobody could log in at all thanks to a buggy backend having a fit because my hosting provider updated their version of Php.. This meant no updates, no comments, b0rked rss feeds and all sorts of little bugs getting out of control with no way to fix them.

I let it go for so long because when they popped up I was between homes, and didnt have a copy of the source files needed to track down the cause or attempt a fix. It sucked. It was only by sheer force of will and dodgy database hacks that I managed to manually force the last "Brisbane Streets" post onto the front page while I despaired at completely losing control of my own blog..

Even though it looks like nothings changed on the surface, I've just spent a few painful hours backing up the whole site (by dialup), completely gutting the site and reuploading the content along with a massively updated version of the content management system. Im amazed I haven't broken anything (yet).

Let me know if you find anything messed up, I've only just finished and haven't checked everything yet, but so far so good..
AdamDodson.org lives again!

When I was digging around for cat pics for the "Cats kick ass" post it made me realise just how big my picture collection was getting. I've been collecting anything and everything from the net as I go for years now and my "Random Pics" folder has at least a dozen pictures for every possible situation :oP

Rather then just opening a gallery and trying to dump the lot (about 15,000 files so far) there, Im gonna do it for certain themes at a time. Hopefully this will give me a chance to organise my collection as I go, and will help keep the quality up.

First up, I'm gonna continue the cat theme and try and get the ultimate collection of random cat pics. A pointless goal, but I already have at least 130 cat pics uploaded so I'm well on my way :oP Anybody can register to be able to add your own pictures, but please keep them on topic. If you just have random unrelated pics to share, feel free to dump them on the forum first.

Come check out the new gallery! And somebody suggest a theme for the next album in the comments :)
